FEATURES
Hardware: Enhanced sensor with faster response and finer picture quality. When compared
with the current 300k pixels model, the difference is remarkable.
Software: On MIC-130 USB Camera (300k pixels), we use “Amcap” which is a license-free
software from Microsoft. It only comes with basic functions like snap and video capture. But
now, the NEW software of MIC-140 (named “ScopeView”) has a lot more essential functions
as described below.
1. Support point-to-point and angle measurements.
2. User friendly "icon" toolbar at the top giving user quick access to frequently used
functions like capture, save file, open file, display ratio, measurement and so on.
3. Display ratio buttons. Since when resolution is set at max at 1280x1024 pixels, image
window is large and partly off screen. User can press "2:1" and "1:1" button on the
toolbar to toggle between half-size and normal previews.
4. Support "TWAIN Acquire" which is another channel to import image.
5. Auto-capture. This is a very useful feature that automatically captures image on a regular
time interval the user set.
6. Multiple save formats for image output. Common ones as BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF etc. to
suit different needs of user.
7. Video Codecs available for compressing video file captured into compact size.
8. Image Adjustments - Auto Color, Auto Contrast, Brightness/Contrast, Curve etc. all of
these photoshop functions are built-in so that user can easily edit the captured images
within the software.
9. Various filters and image effects for additional post-capture editing.
Design: It has identical appearance as its predecessor, i.e. resembles an eyepiece for intuitive
